Stuffed chilies |
Ingredients:
10 long green chilies
4 big potatoes
1 table spoon kasuri methi
1 table spoon coriander powder
1 tea spoon red chili powder
1 tea spoon amchur powder
1 tea spoon mustard seeds
1 tea spoon cumin seeds
1 tea spoon garam masala powder
2 table spoon besan
1 tea spoon kitchen king masala
1/4 tea spoon hing powder
1/2 tea spoon haldi powder
3 table spoon oil
Salt to taste
Preparation:
1. Boil, peel and mash potatoes
2. Wash, dry and slit green chilies and remove seeds
3. Heat 1 table spoon oil in a pan, add mustard, cumin seed, hing and haldi.
4. When mustard splits add the besan and saute on a low flame till a nice aroma of besan arises
5. Add coriander powder, amchur, garam masala, salt, kitchen king masala, kasoori methi, red chili powder and mix well
6. Add the mashed potatoes and mix well.
7. Remove from the flame and stuff this potato mixture in the slit chilies.
8. Place the stuffed chilies on a greased baking dish, drizzle oil and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes
9. Alternatively, heat oil in a flat pan and arrange the stuffed chilies and cover and cook till chilies are well cooked
10. Serve as aside dish with hot dal and rice
