Spinach, Watermelon and Walnut Salad |
Salads are comfort food especially during summers. It is a meal that can be fixed in no time. Spinach Watermelon and Walnut Salad is a healthy and filling meal. The crunch of the walnuts adds to the taste and is bound to make a tasty meal.
Ingredients (Serves 4)
1 cup spinach roughly chopped
2 cups water melon deseeded and chopped to bite size
4 table spoon chopped walnuts
1/2 cup grapes cut into halves (black /green)
1/2 cup golden kiwi finely chopped (optional)
4 table spoon feta cheese
For dressing:
1 table spoon avocado oil/olive oil
1 tea spoon lemon juice
1 tea spoon honey
1/2 tea spoon pepper powder
Salt to taste
Preparation:
- Mix well all the ingredients mentioned in the dressing and set aside
- Mix spinach, water melon, walnuts, grapes, kiwi
- To the above mixture add the dressing and gently mix
- Add the feta cheese
- Serve chilled
