Smoothies are thick beverages made with fruits and vegetables blend together. They are tasty , filling and most importantly healthy. It makes it easier to eat right !! It is a welcome drink during summer seasons.
Ingredients (makes three glasses)
2 bananas
2 oranges
1/2 cup chopped pineapple
1/2 cup chopped spinach
1/2 cup chopped straw berries
2 table spoon almond powder
1 table spoon lemon juice
1/2 cup chilled water if required (depends on the consistency of the smoothie one likes)

Preparation:
- Peel the oranges, section the oranges and remove the seeds
- Peel the bananas
- Wash and chop the spinach
- Blend all the ingredients mentioned using a blender
- Add water if the consistency is too thick
- Pour on to the glasses and serve chilled
