Butter Sauteed Spinach

This is a quick cooking - vegetable side dish. With just a touch of butter and a quick stir, a vegetable side dish can be made which is crunchy and tastes great.

Ingredients:( serves two)

1 big bundle spinach
1 bundle Chinese spinach
2 big garlic cloves
2 table spoon cooking butter
1 tea spoon pepper powder
1 tea spoon oregano
1 table spoon parmesan cheese (optional)
Salt to taste

Preparation:
  1. Wash and pat dry the spinach and chop into big pieces or just tear it with hand
  2. Crush garlic gently
  3. In a large sauté pan melt butter on a low flame, add the crushed garlic and sauté for half a minute making sure garlic is not burnt
  4. Raise the heat to high and add the chopped spinach
  5. Keep flipping and stirring until spinach barely gets wilted and all the moisture is gone
  6. Put off the flame and add salt, pepper powder and oregano
  7. (Sprinkle parmesan cheese if using)
  8. Toss and serve hot immediately
