Ammana adige mane in Kannada means mother's kitchen. This blog is aimed at those who love to cook simple home made food with minimum available ingredients.The style of recipes in this blog will be mostly Dakshina Kannada (Vegetarian) home made food. However I intend to share recipes other than authentic Dakshina Kannada cooking which include cuisines from Andhra, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Punjab...There is also something for those who like cuisine from across the sea.

Biscuit Pudding



                                                                    
Biscuit Pudding

                                                               
This no cooking, no baking easy biscuit pudding is a dessert every child will enjoy eating. It takes about 15 minutes to assemble all ingredients and the yummy dessert is ready .      

Ingredients:
1 cup cocoa powder
5 packs of parley glucose biscuits
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup soft butter
1 cup coffee decoction
1 cup finely chopped assorted dry fruits

Preparation:
  1. Take a tray and grease it with little butter
  2. In a bowl mix the sugar, butter, cocoa powder and mix well till the mixture is creamy with no lumps
  3. Dip each glucose biscuit in coffee decoction and line one layer on the greased tray
  4. Spread little cocoa mixture evenly on the glucose biscuit
  5. Next put one more layer of glucose biscuit dipped in coffee decoction
  6. Again spread another layer of cocoa mixture on the glucose biscuit
  7. Make 5-6 layers ending with cocoa mixture as the top layer
  8. Garnish with the chopped dry fruits
  9. Refrigerate till the pudding sets well
  10. Cut into desired shape and serve chilled
