Ammana adige mane in Kannada means mother's kitchen. This blog is aimed at those who love to cook simple home made food with minimum available ingredients.The style of recipes in this blog will be mostly Dakshina Kannada (Vegetarian) home made food. However I intend to share recipes other than authentic Dakshina Kannada cooking which include cuisines from Andhra, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Punjab...There is also something for those who like cuisine from across the sea.

Chili Garlic Noodles

Chilli Garlic Noodles
Spicy chilli garlic noodles make a great lunch box menu or a picnic basket menu. This noodles can be prepared in a jiffy with minimum ingredients

Ingredients: (Serves four people)
500 gm boiled noodles
8 garlic pods grated
1 table spoon credo chilli flakes
1 table spoon schezwan sauce
2 table spoon oil
1 cup finely chopped spring onion (white and green)
Salt to taste
Preparation:
  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the grated garlic and sauté till garlic turns light brown
  2. Add the chopped spring onions and sauté for a minute
  3. Add the chilli flakes, salt and schezwan sauce and mix well
  4. Add the boiled noodles and mix well
  5. Serve hot with garlic bread
