Avocado Soup |
On a chill winter day nothing can be soothing as a bowl of hot soup. This is one soup you cannot go wrong. The subtle flavour of avocado pairs well with any herbs and gives a creamy texture to the soup.
Ingredients: (serves two)
1 big size ripe avocado
3 garlic pods
1 green chilli
1 small onion
1 tea spoon pepper powder1 table spoon fresh cream
Salt to taste
Preparation:
- Cut the avocado into two and scoop the pulp
- In a mixer grinders, grind together the avocado pulp, green chilli, garlic and onion to a fine paste
- Remove the ground mixture on to a pan add salt and pepper powder.
- Add enough water to bring it to soup consistency and give a quick boil
- Put off the flame and add the fresh cream and mix well
- Serve hot.
