Paper Dosa |
Paper dosa is ultra thin, crispy dosa. It is so thin and crispy that it can be rolled like a paper. Enjoy this yummy dosa with coconut chutney
Ingredients:
2 cups boiled rice or 3 cups raw rice
1 cup split yellow moong dal
1 cup urad dal
1/4 cup rice flour
1/4 cup maida
1 tea spoon methi seeds
1/4 cup beaten rice (Poha)
Salt to taste
Oil for making dosa- Soak urad dal, and moong dal together for three hours
- Soak rice and methi seeds together for three hours
- Soak Poha for 15 minutes
- Grind urad dal and moong dal to a fine paste
- Add the rice , Poha and grind till the batter is smooth
- Add salt and ferment the ground batter overnight
- Mix maida and rice flour, add water and make a smooth paste and ferment overnight
- Morning,add the rice flour, maida mixture to the batter and mix well
- Heat a dosa thava (griddle) and spread the batter into thin dosa (take care not to overheat the tava)
- Add oil around the dosa
- When crisp roll the dosa like paper
- Serve with coconut chutney
