Ammana adige mane in Kannada means mother's kitchen. This blog is aimed at those who love to cook simple home made food with minimum available ingredients.The style of recipes in this blog will be mostly Dakshina Kannada (Vegetarian) home made food. However I intend to share recipes other than authentic Dakshina Kannada cooking which include cuisines from Andhra, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Punjab...There is also something for those who like cuisine from across the sea.

Milk Pudding

                                                                     
Milk Pudding

This is a quick, simple, eggless, no bake pudding. The cardamom adds that extra flavour and the taste buds are left asking for more.

Ingredients:
500 litre whole milk
1 can condensed milk
200 gm.  instant china grass
1 tea spoon cardamom powder

Preparation:
  1. Boil the milk
  2. To the boiled milk add the condensed milk and the instant china grass and bring it to a boil
  3. Add the cardamom powder and mix well
  4. Pour on to a serving dish and refrigerate till the pudding sets
  5. Cut into required shape and serve
